Brief description:

Promoting hair regrowth in patients who are experiencing gradually thinning hair or gradual hair loss on the top of the head.

Minoxidil solution is a vasodilator. It is not known how minoxidil solution stimulates scalp hair growth. It is possible that it dilates blood vessels in the scalp, which may improve hair follicle function and stimulate scalp hair growth.

Mechanism of action:

minoxidil works in part by lengthening the anagen (growing) phase of the hair growth cycle and increasing the size of hair follicles. However, the exact mechanism by which minoxidil works is unclear. Minoxidil stimulates inactive follicles at the surface level of the scalp, nudging them from the telogen (resting) phase into the anagen phase. It can ake 3-6 months of daily use to produce results. Using more minoxidil or applying it more often will not improve hair regrowth results.

In order to continue to stimulate the growth of new hair with minoxidil, users must take it continuously. If they stop taking minoxidil, their hair loss will resume. Other drug free hair loss solutions such as hair growth supplements nourish thinning hair in line with the natural hair growth cycle so hair growth will not immediately stop when they stop taking the supplements

Dosage and how to use:

•Before use, wash your scalp with a mild shampoo. Your hair and scalp must be dry before applying minoxidil solution. Wash your hands after applying minoxidil solution. Allow the solution to remain on the scalp for at least 4 hours before washing. Wait approximately 4 hours after application before going swimming, and do not allow your scalp to get wet from the rain after applying the solution.

•Wait until the solution is dry before using other hair care products.
